To ensure that your appliance continues to operate at the quality you paid for, the manufacturers highly recommend that you descale it once every 12 months. Owners with water conditioners do not need such service except once every 5 years.

 

Why annual maintenance is needed…

Over time, limescale builds up and needs to be flushed/removed from the heat exchangers. It is essential that the scale be removed before it is damaged. This can happen when not enough water passes through the heat exchanger to cool it down.

 

If left unchecked, such buildup can cause longer burner cycles, leading to a strained system and a shorter life span.
